Navig8 Chemicals was formed as a Joint Venture between Navig8 Group and Sokana Chartering in October 2009. Navig8 Chemicals manages the TARAS-8 and BRIZO-8 pools in the Chemical Tanker Market combining the existing commercial management and operations of Sokana with Navig8’s successful platform, systems and infrastructure.
In addition to the pools, Navig8 Chemicals commercially manages a fleet of Chemical Tankers ranging in size from 9,000 dwt to 29,000 dwt. In the near future, Navig8 Chemicals intends to increase the scope of pooling activities and commercial management activities to additional segments.
Commercial and operational management takes place out of offices in: USA (Westport), UK (London) China (Shanghai), Singapore and Korea (Seoul), providing for 24 hours worldwide coverage with experienced industry leaders.
